STEELHEART Frontman Interviewed On 'Turn It Up' Radio Show
July 20, 2009The "Turn It Up" radio show recently conducted an interview with vocalist Miljenko Matijevic of STEELHEART. The chat is now available for streaming and/or download at this location.
"Turn It Up" is a two-hour radio show on WSCA 106.1 FM in Portsmouth, New Hampshire that focuses on new and classic hard rock and heavy metal.
As previously reported, Dana Altman of North Sea Films has given the green light to the production of "Good 2B Alive", a documentary film about Miljenko Matijevic. The film will be a detailed look into the extraordinary life of Miljenko and his music; an incredible journey back to the stage after the devastating accident in Denver, Colorado during his performance at the McNichols Arena.
In 1992, on Halloween night, STEELHEART had a platinum-selling album under the band's belt and the second album was on its way to gold status when it all came to a screeching halt. A lighting truss collapsed and crushed Miljenko to the stage, removing him from the music scene and his life's passion.
This is incredible, true story of human perseverance — the resurrection of a rock star — and an inspiring journey of the human spirit; how one man keeps the faith regardless of the odds.
